Wealth Enhancement Group Acquires Financial Advisory Group with $1.22B AUM

The Texas firm is Wealth Enhancement Group's fifth acquisition of the year and brings its total client assets to more than $81.5 billion.

In its fifth acquisition of the year, Wealth Enhancement Group is joining forces with The Financial Advisory Group, an independent RIA in Houston that manages over $1.22 billion in client assets

Financial Advisory Group is led by Richard J. Alphonso, CPAPFS, M.S.T., AEP, who founded the firm in 1997 and also has a law degree. The firm has a team of seven financial advisors and 14 support team members.

The Financial Advisory Group provides tax planning and preparation, traditional investment management, family office services, and financial planning services. Clients include oral surgeons, doctors, attorneys, and business owners, as well as family offices.

The addition of The Financial Advisory Group marks Wealth Enhancement Group’s third location in Texas.

Founded in 1997, Wealth Enhancement Group serves over 61,000 households from 115 offices nationwide and has more than $81.5 billion in client, advisory, trust, and brokerage assets.
