Some jobs that don’t require a college degree pay very well, and a new study pinpoints the ones that pay the best.

In first place are commercial pilots, whose yearly salary averages $176,000, according to an analysis of Glassdoor job listings by AI Interview copilot Final Round AI. The average commercial airline pilot earns almost 200% more than the average U.S. salary of $59,835 per year. However, it can cost from $55,000 to $100,000 to get a commercial pilot license, according to Indeed.

Of the job listings analyzed, 36.18% required a degree. The analysis examined the number of job listings for various roles, noting the number that required a degree and those that didn’t. Roles that had 50% or more of all job advertisements requiring a degree were omitted from the rankings.

Dental hygienists are the second highest paid on the list, with an average salary of $169,000, 182.44% more than the average American’s salary. The role is one of the more accessible roles for high pay without a college diploma, with only 12.63% of job listings requiring a degree.
