All-woman M&A: Treehouse Wealth Advisors Acquires The Humphreys Group

The California wealth management firm is expanding its footprint in the Bay Area.

Treehouse Wealth Advisors, a women-led wealth management firm in Walnut Creek, California, has acquired The Humphreys Group, a San Francisco firm known for championing women’s economic interests and ESG investing.

“This merger represents a union of shared values and a mutual commitment to delivering personalized, high-touch wealth management,” said Julie Meissner, CEO and founder of Treehouse Wealth Advisors. “We are excited to further expand in the Bay Area and integrate The Humphreys Group’s innovative initiatives, such as group-based Conversation Circle events and ESG investment opportunities, into our offerings to provide even more meaningful services for our clients.”

The all-women M&A also included Diane Bourdo, President of The Humphreys Group, represented by Gretchen Halpin, a consultant, broker and co-founder of Beyond AUM. Both firms were represented by female attorneys.

Treehouse Wealth Advisors provides wealth management services to families and individuals, including  “impact makers, innovators and legacy builders,” according to a news release from the firm.

The merged organization will operate through offices in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California, as Treehouse Wealth Advisors.
